ROOTED

A Practical Manual for Stronger Feet, Better Movement,

and a More Supported You

Your feet are the gateway to your connection with your body.

Your feet carry you through every day. They bear your weight, meet the ground beneath you, adapt to every step you take, and shape how you stand, balance, walk, and move.

And yet, unless something hurts, how often do you actually feel them? How connected are you to them?

ROOTED begins there. Not by telling you what your feet should do, but by helping you notice what they are already doing—and what you can discover when you start paying attention.

Most approaches begin with what to do: correct this position, perform this exercise.

In ROOTED, you begin somewhere else. First, you learn to feel. The more clearly you feel your body, the more you understand how you’re using it. And the more clearly you sense yourself from within, the more precisely you can respond to your body’s needs.

ROOTED guides you through the process step by step.

Through written teachings, short guided audio practices, simple diagrams, sensory explorations, and foundational exercises, you’ll be invited to notice your body in ways you may not have considered before.

What begins at your feet may become something much larger: a different way of experiencing your body, listening to it, and relating to yourself through it.

ROOTED is a manual you can return to again and again, using the practices that serve you, noticing how your body responds, and allowing what you feel to inform what you do next.

Inside ROOTED

You will explore three different ways of connecting with and feeling your body.

You’ll learn to be more precise about what’s true in your body while staying open to what might be possible.

And then you will bring everything you have discovered into movement, with foundational practices for your feet and ankles that include release work, ankle and toe mobility, a legs-on-the-wall progression, and calf and ankle stretches.

Throughout ROOTED, you will return to three questions:

  • What do I notice now?
  • What am I feeling as I do this?
  • What is different afterward?

They are simple questions, and with practice over time, they can change how you approach movement, sensation, and your whole body.

The exercises matter, but the way you connect with your feet and your entire body while doing them matters more.
