365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 208: Make It Happen!

shutterstock_186527588Do you believe that unless you started exercising when younger and more energetic, you have no chance of returning to a state of well-being?

Some of the physical changes that impede the freedom of movement in the joints might be considered to be irreversible (degenerated discs, osteoarthritis, spinal stenosis, etc.), but if you believe that nothing can be done to alleviate the discomfort created by these conditions then nothing will help.

I have seen dramatic changes in strength and mobility, stability and stamina in clients of all ages and varying degrees of health.

What made these changes possible was their decision to start believing in the possibility of a better state of health.

They decided that they had control over their bodies. They took responsibility for their own health. They refused to fall victim to conditions they were told would continue to deteriorate their joints, their tissues and their spines.

They claimed their birthright to health.

They made it happen. And it all started with the decision to take the helm.

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 207: Emotional Health And Your Spine

emotions

Do you believe that the state of emotional health cannot possibly have serious effects on your spine?

You might know that stress is not good for the heart and that the risk of heart disease increases with higher levels of stress hormones, but do you extend the thought beyond that?

You’ve learned from doctors and media that your digestive system can be affected by elevated stress levels, but do you connect the dots?

Stress affects everything in your body!

I will say this again: Stress affects everything!!

Your connective tissues become tighter and your posture changes dramatically when you suffer emotional distress.

I am sure you have felt yourself shrinking and falling inward when you are in distress or emotional pain; your posture changes: your chest caves, your shoulders lift and move forward and you look shorter.

Sustained stress affects your spine and its health.

Is there anything in your life that has been causing you a lot of stress for a long time? If there is, please stay open to the possibility that there is a solution. Nothing is carved in stone and you have the power to change a stress creating situation into a more aligned circumstance.

You want a healthy spine in a healthy body?

Start by acknowledging the things that create substantial stress in your life.

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 206: Mindset And Your Spine

mindset

Your belief systems with respect to health and aging have the power to either sustain your physical health or impede it.

These deeply embedded belief systems will affect your general state of well-being, the way you feel day after day and the health of your body.

Do you believe that as you age your spine deterioration is imminent?

Even though it is true that the gravitational force starts to affect the spine from the moment you stopped crawling and commenced biped walking, it is not true that you must end up debilitated and in pain.

There are people who move with ease and age with grace and who live their lives fully an vibrantly, without experiencing the effects of an aging spine.

What makes that possible?

Is it merely a lifetime of good eating habits, exercise and good genes?

Or is it what their beliefs have been about their health and abilities throughout their entire lives?

Some food for thought, don’t you think?

What are your beliefs about your body, your health, your aging process?

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 205: Inner Harmony Creates Health

healthy

Our beliefs find the way to manifest in our bodies, creating either healthy, youthful physiques or a plethora of discomfort levels and conditions, depending on what we feel to be true.

“The ones who came before us” (as Gregg Braden refers to our ancestors) knew that the physical health of the human body depends on the understanding of the spiritual, emotional, mental, energetic and physical aspects of who we are. The concept goes back to the times of Ayurveda, ancient Chinese Medicine and Native Indian Medicine to name just a few.

Some of us believe that the body will be in a state of health if we eat and sleep well, exercise, drink water and do not carry genes that make us more prone to certain diseases. But these are all related to the physical body and we are not just physical. The physical body is responding to all the aspects of who we are by manifesting health or discomfort and disease.

We physically manifest what we believe.

We can choose to change our eating habits, how much we exercise and decide to take a few extra days of rest, but before we truly believe that we can attain and maintain health we will not witness the extraordinary capacity for recovery and regeneration that our physical bodies have!

When we are in harmony with all the aspects of ourselves, our bodies vibrantly reflect a general state of health and well-being.

I believe that creating lasting and vibrant health is not only possible but only a few beliefs away!

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 204: Breathing And Your Spine

Can breathing exercises improve the condition of your spine and relieve pain?Rib Cage

Is it possible to use the mechanisms of breathing in order to help correct the alignment of the spine and release tension in the body?

Having worked with many clients suffering from chronic pain and in varied degrees of discomfort, I believe it to be not only possible but extremely efficient.

My continuous studies into the intricacies of the physical body, the subtleties of the emotional body and the power of the human energy field, led me to develop my own protocols (Mitrea Balance Model) for pain release and healing.

Breathing techniques and exercises represent an important part in the programs I create for my clients. The targeted and specifically directed breathing techniques and exercises that I have developed have the power to release tension at the level of the connective tissue (the fascia), the muscular system, as well as at the level of the nervous system, resulting in an almost immediate response in the joints of the body. From that point on, the body is more receptive to return to a better alignment, build strength, stretch and heal.

Can breathing exercises help heal physical pain, release unwanted emotions and re-balance the energy field?

Absolutely!

Why am I telling you all this?

Because I want you to know that the physical body has an extraordinary healing capacity and because my mission is to show people how they can heal.

Rucsandra
