You can change what you think and what you feel to resonate with the powerful and high vibration of GRATITUDE.
“Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn’t learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn’t learn a little, at least we didn’t get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn’t die; so, let us all be thankful.”
Every day and in every circumstance there is something to be grateful for. This way of thinking might initially create a lot of resistance. Some people refuse to find a reason to be thankful and so they choose to be victims. They believe that things happen to them, are being done to them. “How can I be grateful for the fact that I have this illness, or lost a loved one, or lost my job, or had parents who abused me, or that my alcoholic husband spent all my money?”
Even if you feel some resistance to the thought of feeling grateful for everything in your life, start with a small grateful step and keep going. Even in the darkest of times there is always something that you can be grateful for. I know this for a fact and from personal experience.
Gratitude has the power to cleanse your emotional lens. Think of gratitude as the master cleanser for your emotional life. When you are grateful for something that occurred in your life despite the fact that other people might think of it as a failure, tragedy or hardship, you are raising your vibration to the level of the Source Energy.
Nora Ephron says:
“Above all, be the heroine of your life, not the victim.”
The truth is that life will only look, feel and be the way you are willing to see it.
Life never treated you unfairly. Life offers you extraordinary opportunities to grow, in every single moment, with every single challenge. Gratitude pulverizes victimhood; it frees you up. The instant lift and rush of energy created by changing your thinking from victimhood to gratitude opens the door to your soul. You become the powerful creator of your own life, of your own reality. You become the hero of your life.
