365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 24: Coming Out of Hiding

RUCSANDRA's PICTURE

This blog got me out of hiding, so today I am grateful for my 365 Days of Gratitude.

I have a confession to make: I have been hiding all my life. I only shared small portions of what I knew, what I felt and what I could have contributed because I was afraid of other people’s judgment and because I was told several times throughout my life to tone it down. Some friends, some teachers and a lover or two have told me that I was too intense, too honest, too “out there”. So I did tone it down and confined myself to be fully me with only a handful of people I was very close to. Well, not anymore. I am sharing fully with you, with everyone, every day. When I decided to take the inspired action and write, I knew that I would be “seen” by a lot more than a handful of people. The prospect was scary – knee-knocking scary to tell you the truth – but I started to write anyway.

Are you being fully YOURSELF? All the time? Do you share your insights, wisdom, knowledge and greatness with others, or do you hold back? I am inviting you not to hold back anymore. Be yourself everywhere, all the time and with everybody. It is liberating and it helps everyone around you.

I will leave you today with Marianne Williamson‘s words. Read them often. I do.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves: who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people will not feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone and as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Your playing small does not serve the world.

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 11: Fork in the Road

RUCSANDRA's PICTURE

Yesterday I read these words: “Be not afraid of growing slowly. Be afraid only of standing still.” This got me thinking about what I call the Transformation Point and the Fork in the Road. A few years back I wrote a little article about these two concepts, because their importance once understood, allowed me to be more present during key moments in my life. Today I re-edited it for you.

Throughout my life I was stretched to the limit by certain circumstances and events. I am very grateful for all these moments, because each one held within a Transformation Point. A Transformation Point refers to what I chose in order to end my struggle to steady a rocking boat:

  • Repeat old behaviors and patterns and remain where I was, or
  • Abandon that sinking ship of limitation and transform my life

The Transformation Point, suspended in time and space, requires a leap of faith. Sometimes, out of fear, we remain at the fork for a long time, unable to move, but eventually life will force us to decide one way or another.

How do you know that you are making the decision that will lead to your transformation and growth? It is very simple. How you feel about it gives you the answer:

  • If you feel a sense of dread, exhaustion and heaviness, this is an indication that you are choosing the same thoughts and behaviors again. It feels safer to do and think what you have always done and thought, but by doing so you bypass the Transformation Point and remain where you were before the Fork in the Road appeared on your life’s path.
  • If you feel a sense of anticipation, excitement and ease, you are choosing to evolve, to transform, to move forward. Going through the Transformation Point requires determination and patience but all you need to do is take that first step and then big leaps become possible. All the pieces start fitting together and life gets easier and a lot more fun.

A FORK IN THE ROAD is a beautiful and powerful reminder that you can always choose what your next experiences will be. May you always choose to evolve and move towards a higher vibration of health and fulfillment, with joyous experiences and wide open hearts!

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 10: Big Leaps

RUCSANDRA's PICTURE

Today’s post is dedicated to all my teachers and mentors. Thank you for your knowledge, passion, compassion and dedication. You guided me, helped me see beyond my awareness and challenged me to grow, to be more to do more. Thank you!

Albert Einstein’s famous quote states that: “We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.”

My mentors helped me transcend my current state by expanding my awareness. I’ve had worked with many mentors in the past 17 years, in all aspects of who I am (physical, emotional, spiritual, mental and energetic) and in all areas of my life (business, personal, financial), depending on what my current challenge was at the time and what I wanted to achieve. Coming in contact with and learning from someone who is already where I am aspiring to be reveals a new horizon in front of my eyes.

Meeting the right mentor generates a powerful transfer of energy that takes me to the next level in my own evolution, in one big leap. Powerful mentors taught me how to go inside myself in places that I was not comfortable with. Skilled and compassionate mentors inspired me to boldly and simply live my life as ME.

It is absolutely true: “When the student is ready, the teacher appears.” A new mentor can reach my awareness, quite randomly it might seem, but I know that randomness has nothing to do with it. When I am ready to leave behind limiting beliefs, thoughts and habits that do not serve me anymore and to take one big step forward in the direction of my dreams, my intention/vibration reaches out and finds my new mentor.

I open myself up to avenues of action that are out of my comfort zone, because my mentors point out directions unknown to me before. And, it all happens in ONE BIG LEAP of awareness. Because my mentors have already transcended my current situation, they can teach me what I cannot yet see by myself.

Why do we need a mentor? To be able TO SEE BEYOND what we currently know!

Is there an area of your life that you want to shift in one big leap? Are you ready to move in the direction of your dreams? Then open yourself up to the possibility and when your mentor is revealed to you, take action! Follow your inner guidance right then and there. Leave fear behind and approach your mentor. Only wonderful things will come from your inspired action. Your life will be transformed.
