365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 71: Everything is a Miracle

RUCSANDRA's PICTURE

Yesterday I shared with you a traumatic time in my life that held the opportunity to forgive and be grateful. Today I am inviting you to choose an event in your life that is still raw in your memory and to sit with it in silence, with no expectation. Just sit and be willing to contemplate the fact that underneath it all, there might be a great gift for you. In silence, the answer will come and you will be able to see so much more that you ever did before.

Stay open, stay aware; allow the good things to come to the surface. What have you learned from that situation? How have you transformed? What gifts have you received that you have not considered before now? Who helped you? What was removed from your life in order to be replaced with something better? Who believed in you?

Gratitude will clear away deeply embedded thoughts, feelings and beliefs that have been keeping you away from letting go, from moving on. Gratitude will allow your Inner Child to feel loved and supported; the power of your subconscious mind will work for you and with you, not against you anymore.

As you feel the grace of gratitude descend upon you, your life will begin to transform.

The great healing power of gratitude will allow you to go through the unresolved hurt and pain from the past; you will sit in silence until their gifts are revealed to you.

I will close with a great quote. Albert Einstein said:

“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”

Today I am inviting you to CHOOSE to live as though everything is a miracle!

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 70: Ioana’s Death

RUCSANDRA's PICTURE

On the third day of this gratitude journey, I wrote about my sister Ioana (read “Ewoana”; she would want you to pronounce her name correctly!) and her healing after a severe stroke left her paralyzed on the right side at the age of 31. Ioana was determined to heal and she did. She was witty, funny and sometimes outrageous.

The posts in my blog are all about gratitude and everything that I am grateful for. I truly believe that in every event or circumstance there is a golden truth that holds the gift of gratitude. This was indeed the case for me and my family four years ago.

Four years ago Ioana  was killed in a terrible motorcycle accident. She was 39. It was an extremely painful and trying time for me and my family; we struggled with the aftershock of this tragedy and for the first couple of weeks my life felt like a movie, unreal and with nothing to hold on to.

Ioana was the passenger and could not hold on when the man riding the motorcycle accelerated to 200 km per hour on the shoulder of the highway. She fell off the motorcycle and her body rolled into traffic. She was killed instantly. The man did not stop, he just continued on. Three weeks later he was arrested and eventually went to jail.

So you might now think: “So in this great tragedy, what was there for you to be grateful for?”.

During the weeks and months that followed, my family and I have known the hear-felt, continuous and compassionate support of friends, relatives and strangers. They out-poured their love, words of kindness and encouragement to us.

I was grateful for their love. I experienced great waves of healing energy generated by the people who came together with love to assist us.

The police officers and the investigators went beyond their job requirements to support and make it easier for us to go through the daily steps of the criminal investigation. Since my mother in Romania does not speak English, they went to the length of finding a Romanian speaking officer who could talk to my mother directly. They felt that she needed to talk to them herself and not only through me. This act of kindness helped my mother tremendously.

There were so many opportunities for gratitude. Gratitude made those first days easier.

A year later, I was present at the trial of the man who killed my sister. That is when I really understood the power of FORGIVENESS.  I realized that forgiveness is one of the greatest healing energies, a gift presented to me right then and there.

From deep inside myself I felt the power of true, unconditional forgiveness. To my awareness also came the fact that this very moment was one of my greatest forks in the road: I had the power to choose TOTAL FORGIVENESS right then and there or choose to remain angry, hurt and feeling like a victim.

In that courtroom, I was fully present in a heightened state of awareness. I was aware of the greatness of that very moment. I knew that it was my choice and my choice only. Life is truly made of what we choose to do with what we encounter.

I CHOSE FORGIVENESS, total and unconditional forgiveness.

I realized that out of the tragedy of my sister’s death my family and I had the opportunity to FORGIVE. We chose to forgive this man who is now serving a sentence for killing my sister.

My decision to forgive and my gratitude for this rare opportunity lifted the suffering veil and brought a new level of compassion and understanding.

My sister’s death taught me the power of love and support, taught me that people are truly kind AND that forgiveness is a choice. These are all true reasons to feel a deep sense of gratitude, even though they stemmed from such a tragedy.

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 69: The Willingness to Contemplate

RUCSANDRA's PICTURE

The willingness to contemplate is extremely powerful. I love these words: the willingness to contemplate. Dr. Wayne Dyer says:

“The law of flotation was not discovered by contemplating the sinking of things. […] The Wright brothers didn’t contemplate the staying on the ground of things. Alexander Graham Bell didn’t contemplate the non-communication of things. Thomas Edison didn’t contemplate the darkness of things. In order to float an idea into your reality, you must be willing to do a somersault into the inconceivable and land on your feet, contemplating what you want instead of what you don’t have.”

I AM INVITING YOU TO HAVE THE WILLINGNESS TO CONTEMPLATE the possibility that in every event, circumstance and interaction with other people there is something to be grateful for. I am not trying to convince you. I am simply inviting you to be willing to contemplate something different and to be willing to look at things in a different light.

Even if it seems quite impossible to you to release something painful or forgive someone who has hurt you and made you suffer, if you open yourself up to the possibility that there might be more to it than what meets the eye, you will soon start to see that there was a touch of grace in that situation and a reason for you to feel grateful.

You do not need to struggle with this; just be willing to see it from a different angle and your openness and willingness alone will create the space for deeper awareness.

I believe that one can only teach from one own’s individual experience, so tomorrow I will tell you about a time in my life when I realized that even in the hardest of times, we have the choice to find that spark of gratitude or be consumed by anger. pain or grief.

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 68: Emotional Cleansing Part 14 – Be the Hero of Your Life

RUCSANDRA's PICTURE

You can change what you think and what you feel to resonate with the powerful and high vibration of GRATITUDE.

Buddha said:

“Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn’t learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn’t learn a little, at least we didn’t get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn’t die; so, let us all be thankful.”

Every day and in every circumstance there is something to be grateful for. This way of thinking might initially create a lot of resistance. Some people refuse to find a reason to be thankful and so they choose to be victims. They believe that things happen to them, are being done to them. “How can I be grateful for the fact that I have this illness, or lost a loved one, or lost my job, or had parents who abused me, or that my alcoholic husband spent all my money?”

Even if you feel some resistance to the thought of feeling grateful for everything in your life, start with a small grateful step and keep going. Even in the darkest of times there is always something that you can be grateful for. I know this for a fact and from personal experience.

Gratitude has the power to cleanse your emotional lens. Think of gratitude as the master cleanser for your emotional life. When you are grateful for something that occurred in your life despite the fact that other people might think of it as a failure, tragedy or hardship, you are raising your vibration to the level of the Source Energy.

Nora Ephron says:

“Above all, be the heroine of your life, not the victim.”

The truth is that life will only look, feel and be the way you are willing to see it.

Life never treated you unfairly. Life offers you extraordinary opportunities to grow, in every single moment, with every single challenge. Gratitude pulverizes victimhood; it frees you up. The instant lift and rush of energy created by changing your thinking from victimhood to gratitude opens the door to your soul. You become the powerful creator of your own life, of your own reality. You become the hero of your life.

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 67: Emotional Cleansing Part 13 – Feeling Like a Victim?

RUCSANDRA's PICTURE

During the last 12 days I wrote about the concept and necessity of emotional cleansing; I offered you powerful emotional clearing techniques that I use all the time for my own emotional balance and health; I invited you to look deeper inside yourself.

Today I want to tell you that one of the greatest tools that you can employ to clear your emotional being is GRATITUDE. I know you have heard this before and probably you are already using the power of gratitude in your life.

When you are grateful, your whole energetic field clears; the powerful vibration of gratitude in that very moment clears away emotional turmoil, shame, anger, pain, sorrow and grief. This process requires awareness and the willingness to accept  a deeper part of who you truly are. Gratitude requires you to go and reach that part of you which is Universal and eternal and which has great knowledge and understanding of all life’s processes.

Brian Tracy says:

“Develop an attitude of gratitude, and give thanks for everything that happens to you, knowing that every step forward is a step toward achieving something bigger and better than your current situation.”

Maybe this is a harder concept  to wrap your head around or maybe you are already employing the full power of gratitude. The truth is that by being grateful, entirely and truly grateful for everything that happens in your life, you refuse to be a victim.

I want you to take a moment and think about a time when you felt like a victim, when you felt like things were happening to you, when you felt victimized. Ok, take a moment and do just that.

Good. Now I want you to find one good thing around that situation, one good outcome within the event that hurt you and hold it in your awareness.

Is this hard for you to do?

The truth is that for as long as you feel like a victim, gratitude will be out of your reach.

Victimhood binds you with ropes that are impossible to cut. Victimhood keeps you in situations that you do not want to be in. You feel like life happens to you, you are lost in suffering and cannot see that life is happening FOR YOU.

I want you to be free. I want you to be grateful. I want you to feel powerful, because you are. You are unique. Your special set of gifts and talents can help many people. But first, you must let go of feeling like a victim.

I’ll write more about this tomorrow.

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 66: Emotional Cleansing Part 12 – My Gift to YOU

RUCSANDRA's PICTURE

How are you? Have you received my gift, the Sacred Oak Tree Meditation? I want you to have this meditation because I know its power. It helped me throughout the years and it helped my friends, family and clients. If you have not done so yet, email me at rucsandra@mitreawellness.com and I will send it to you in an MP3 format, so that you can listen to it on your phone, iPad or computer. My gift to you, to help you cleanse emotionally.

You will find many situations when the Sacred Oak Tree technique will help you. For example:

  • You are going to spend time with family and you are worried and starting to judge or be afraid of what might go wrong. Become an Oak Tree first, release everything that troubles you and then go meet your family with a clean slate.
  • You are concerned about your finances or your job. When you feel the first sign or concern or fear, visualize becoming the Sacred Oak Tree. Over and over and over. The less afraid you feel, the more you can see opportunities and invite the right people in your life.
  • You are ready to go to a meeting and you’re not sure about what to say, what others will say, you might be apprehensive or afraid of the other people’s reactions or judgment. Clear yourself with the Oak Tree technique first and then go into the meeting.

This meditation will clear your energy and release your stress. How will you know what the effects of using this technique really are? You will feel them. You will feel calmer, your mind will be clearer and you will start to deal with everything from a powerful stance of authenticity. In turn, every situation will resolve with more ease. You will find that people will come to you with solutions and responses and your relationships will improve.

To access the core of POWER inside yourself, you must be clear. Your emotional lens must be clean. The Sacred Oak Tree Meditation cleanses your lens. The more you use it, the faster it works. You will only need to think of the Oak Tree and your energy will clear, your fears will release and you will face any person or situations as YOU, the powerful and beautiful YOU.

For the next few weeks, set your phone or computer alarm to ring a two times a day and remind you about the Oak Tree. When the alarm rings, take two deep breaths, become the Magic Oak Tree and and let it do the work. Within a few minutes you will feel YOUR CORE OF POWER becoming stronger. You will feel lighter and clearer.

This is a technique that will assist you anytime you are starting to doubt yourself. Practice it as much as you can and it will become more effective and more powerful.

Love,

Rucsandra

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 65: The Sacred Oak Tree

RUCSANDRA's PICTURE

Three years ago I recorded a guided meditation entitled The Sacred Oak Tree Meditation. Professionally recorded, it benefits from the beautiful music specially composed by Meiro Stamm. The Oak Tree Meditation is a powerful emotional cleansing technique to use when you are emotionally overwhelmed, stressed out, feeling confused or drained.

This is one of my personal favorite techniques and I have been using the Sacred Oak Tree Meditation for many years now; I decided to record it because I know its power. It is a beautiful, light and soothing process.

I want you to have this meditation and use it to re-balance, to clear, to cleanse and to restore. It is my gift to you for following me on this 365 day journey of gratitude, for reading my posts and sharing them with others. Thank you. Simply email me at rucsandra@mitreawellness.com and I will send it to you in an MP3 format, so that you can listen to it on your phone, iPad or computer.

The more you practice it, the faster it works. This great tool can be used every day and in every situation, in order to restore your authentic self. Practice it as often as you can. It gets more powerful every time. All the negative energies will be drained away from your body and from your energetic field with ease, with no resistance. You will feel calm, clear and vibrant.

Thank you. I love you.
