365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 226: YOUR Emotions Matter

emotional intelligence

The way you respond to other people’s actions, to events and circumstances, to challenges you come across and life in general is determined by your underlying emotional state. Your emotional state is in turn defined by the total sum of everything you’ve experienced in your life but not fully processed up to this point.

If we are to think in this paradigm, then you have to wonder what part of your actions is truly conscious and what part is just a reaction.

What I know for sure is this: unless you allow your emotions to come to the surface and be examined and then fully released, you will continue to react to outside stimuli in ways that you might not understand.

Here’s my invitation to you: express your emotions fully; allow yourself to feel, to have an emotional opinion. All you need to do is acknowledge your emotions, sit with them, allow them to be. As you do so, they will clear, dissipate and you will feel free.

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 163: Want Proof That Your Thoughts Create Your Life?

RUCSANDRA's PICTURE

Neville Goddard (you can Google him) said:

“Man’s chief delusion is his conviction that there are other causes other than his own state of consciousness.”

“For life makes no mistakes and always gives man that which man first gives himself.”

“Because of your belief in external things you think power into them by transferring the power that you are to the external thing. Realize you yourself are the power you have mistakenly given to outer conditions.”

Did you just read these three quotes and your mind said: blah, blah, blah?

You want some proof, right?

I wanted proof too. Many years ago, I started to ask for proof and I had it, over and over again; unquestionable and undeniable proof.

Let me introduce you a little book that might change your life: “E-Squared” by Pam Grout. Buy it. Read it. I wish I had this book 30 years ago. It would have made it a lot easier for me to understand and improve my practice of thought created experiences.

I am happy that this book has been written, and I hope you do get it.

It contains nine do-it-yourself energy experiments that prove that your thoughts create your reality.

You want proof?

Ask for it!

Rucsandra

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 162: Thoughts Create Your Reality: Want Proof?

RUCSANDRA's PICTURE

I am sure you’ve heard many times that your thoughts have indeed the power to change your experiences.

Your day to day reality is determined by your day to day thoughts.

You might believe this or not, but here’s the thing: if you take an area of your life, say career, is it what you really want? If it is, examine what your thoughts are with respect to your career. You will find that they are uplifting, positive and self affirming thoughts: you love what you do, you are proud of your accomplishments, you are looking forward to new things and welcome every challenge with a light heart and trust that you will find the answer. Or something like that.

Now, let’s say that your relationships area is lacking or giving you trouble; one or more or more of your relationships are not what you want. Examine your thoughts with respect to these relationships and you will find them to be negative, diminishing and low energy: you are frustrated, you judge the other person, you want them to change, to do things differently, you resent certain behaviors they have, you lack patience, losing faith, etc.

Your thought are different with respect to the two area of your life, aren’t they?

You might now say that they are different because the situations are different.

I will disagree and say it the other way around: the situations are different – one that you like and one that you do not – BECAUSE your thoughts are different.

Ponder on this for today.

Tomorrow I will tell you how to find the proof you need in order to change your mind and start thinking your way to what you want.

Rucsandra

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 161: Gratitude Changes Everything!

RUCSANDRA's PICTURE

What do you usually do when you feel upset, discouraged or less than someone else?

I can tell you what I used to do before I understood how gratitude shifts the internal compass from doom and gloom to a lighter more uplifted state: I used to just sit in it, bathed in my own misery, felt sorry for myself and got exhausted.

This is exactly what most people do, not because they want to be miserable, but because they think that they do not have a choice. They do not know that there is an alternative and that they have the power to change their emotional state.

But, there is ALWAYS a choice: gratitude.

This is how it works: when you feel low and unhappy, start finding things that you can be grateful for and list them, in your mind or on paper.

It is not as hard as you might think: be grateful for a warm home in the winter, for a beautiful meal, for the store who provided the ingredients for your meal, for the stove that cooks your food, for the wood of your desk, for the computer you use every day, for a manicure, for a pair of sky boots, for a plant that brings you joy, for a book that someone wrote so that you can read, for a candle on the table, for a wonderful painting that you look at every day, for your toothbrush that keeps your teeth clean, for your favorite armchair, for the people who created and sold you the iPhone you love, for the vacation you took, for a kind word, for an embrace, for a smile, for a hand of help, for the electricity that keeps your life running, for your health, for a glass of champagne, for a mushroom, for an omelette, for a friend, for a lover, for a parent, for someone who inspired you, for your first kiss, your first orgasm, for the asphalt that make streets and highways possible, for a forest you love, or a sea you swam in, for a hair product or your favorite perfume, for an airplane and all the people who make your travelling possible.

You get the idea.

Does it seem hard to be grateful for such things?

Imagine your life without all of them.

Isn’t it easier now to be grateful?

And as you start to allow yourself to be filled with gratitude for everything in your life, can you feel your mood lightening up?

It works.

Every time.

Gratitude changes everything!

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 53: Emotional Cleansing Part 1

RUCSANDRA's PICTURE

Many years back I came to understand that the way I was responding to other people’s actions, to events and life in general was primarily determined by my general emotional state, which in turn was defined by the total sum of everything that I had experienced in my life up to that point. I started to wonder what part of my actions was truly conscious and what part was just unconscious reaction. As at the time I did not have the answer, I made a pact with myself to find the truth and in order to do that I had to wipe my emotional slate clean. And so I started a powerful, sometimes joyful but many times heart wrenching journey of emotional clearing and cleansing.

I am very grateful for taking the steps to create a state of emotional cleanliness and today I am starting to share with you what I mean by that. I want you to start the process of cleansing at the emotional level, so that your life is made of conscious actions. I want you to be the creator of your life, not just “be lived” by the events and circumstances in your life.

Yesterday I was writing about the importance of healing the relationship you have with yourself.

Today is Day 1 of your emotional cleansing process. I call it EM-CLEANSE. I developed a program I use with my clients to teach this concept and show them how to clear their emotional slate so that it does not define how they respond to challenges, events, circumstances and other people’s actions. I want to share this concept with you. This is my gift to you, as a way of expressing my gratitude.

So let’s start.

Do you believe in less chemicals and a cleaner environment?

Do you care about the foods you eat and the products you use on your skin?

Do you believe in being clean and toxin free inside and out?

How about your emotional cleanliness?

Have you ever heard about this concept before?

They do not teach in schools about it, but its lack creates stress and distress in your life.

Feelings of criticism toward yourself and others, anger towards yourself or others, fear, unworthiness, anger, frustration, judgment, defeat, despair with regards to your relationships, love life, work, family, finances, physical fitness or health create platform of distress in the body and the mind.

Left un-cleared, these feelings become emotional residues that create a build up which is detrimental to your general well-being and health and affects both your mental and physical states. If not fully expressed, emotions can and do create the emotional residues that remains in your body for days, weeks, months or years, until you fully release them.

“See” you tomorrow. Get ready!

Love,

Rucsandra
