365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 150: The In-Between Time

Whenever we are ready to create something new in our lives, to grow, to evolve and to undergo a great transformation, we put the process in motion by wanting it, by desiring it, by dreaming of it.

By the simple process of truly desiring something we send our energetic being forward, to lead the way and pull through the physical manifestation of our dreams.

In the world of pure potentiality we have already arrived to where we want to be. The physical, material world changes at a slower pace, so there is a delay between the moment of energetic creation and the moment of physical manifestation. The duration of the delay between the moment of desire and the moment when the desire becomes reality depends on the greatness of the dream; it depends on how great a transformation we want to achieve.

This  is the in-between time, the waiting time. What we do during this time will bring the change faster or will delay it even more. If we relax and trust that we will get there, we shorten our wait. If we worry and fear that our dreams will never come true, then we lengthen our wait and sometimes even reverse the process; and end up where we initially started to wish for something different. So then we have to start again.

It might seem quite complex to grasp, but it is really simple: we discover that we don’t like where we are right now and we desire something different; when we desire it, the world of pure potentiality creates it; we wait, feeling grateful for what is already in the process of arriving and we trust that it will happen; and then it does.

So, it is simple, isn’t it?

Can you do it?

Will you desire something right now and then trust that it will happen?

What will you do in the in-between time?

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 138: Clear The Path And Change Your Life

In yesterday’s post I wrote about things that stand between where you are now and where you desire to be. These things prevent you from creating the life you want. Here’s the little list again. You can add to it or subtract from it, as you please.

  • Unresolved emotional issues
  • Limiting beliefs
  • Physical clutter in your living and working space
  • Lack of clarity and goals
  • Lack of support
  • Failing to acknowledge and celebrate your success

I want you think about these things on the list as clutter. Pure clutter. Some emotional, some physical, some mental… but clutter non the less.

What do you think? How does it feel to view them as pure and plain clutter?

It diminishes their power, doesn’t it? It releases your apprehension, don’t you think?

What do you do with clutter?

You clear it!

It might take a few days, a few weeks, a few months or maybe a few years, depending on where you are starting.

But I want you to know that with every little piece cleared and out of the way, your life will change. A small change tomorrow, another one in a few days, a great breakthrough in  a few weeks. The sum of all these changes will increase its power day by day and the momentum will increase many fold.

You will start to notice your life flowing with more ease, you will feel less pressure and less stress, you will feel lighter and happier.

In a few months your life will be so different, that you will want to de-clutter even more.

Start now. Chose one little thing and clear it, let go of it or change your mind about it.

Don’t delay.

Your life is waiting!

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 135: Do You Like Yourself?

This is an important question. May I invite you to take a little quiet time for yourself and ask this question? You might feel a little apprehensive to do so, but do it anyway. Knowing the answer may change your life.

Understanding yourself at a deeper level will give you the opportunity to become successful, truly successful.

Maya Angelou said:

“Success is liking yourself, liking what you do and liking how you do it.”

Think about her words for a moment, as they hold truth and wisdom. Success in life is not determined by what other people say; what your mother, your father, society, schools, your boss  or church say about you bears no real weight.

Only YOU can decide if YOU are successful in YOUR life.

I want you to like yourself, what you do and how you do it.

My desire for you is to be successful.

So ask the question.

Take time for introspection and find the answer.

And then, start acknowledging what you like and take the first step to change what you do not like. One thing at a time.

This journey we call life allows us all to change our minds, to transform and to be successful. Maya Angelou’s life story stands as testimony for transformation, triumph and success.

Your success will inspire you to do more, to be more, to create more and to enjoy more.

It will also inspire everyone in your life.

So go ahead.

Be successful.

Start now.

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 134: Abraham And Their Books

I believe that I read all the books written by Abraham and Esther Hicks. They helped me transform my thinking, they helped me understand what powerful creators we all are.

You see, you are always creating. Whatever your life looks right now, it is a result of your thoughts; it is your creation. You want something different? Learn to change your thoughts from what they currently are to thoughts that will create what you desire.

You might completely disagree with me right now, especially if you consider that your life was shaped by events outside your control. But hold on, don’t dismiss what I am saying just yet. There are things that you do not control and situations that develop without your contribution. Yes, I agree with this; BUT your life is shaped by what you choose to do in those situations and how you choose to respond to each and every event.

Life is life. It has birth and death; joy and sorrow; happiness and pain. What YOU choose in every moment will shape YOUR experiences, within the greater flow of life.

This concept might take a while to sink in if it is new for you. All I am asking you to do is to not dismiss it. Just allow it to exist in your consciousness as a possibility. And read one of Abraham’s books. Here’s a little list to make it easier to find them:

Ask and It Is Given: Learning to Manifest Your Desires

Money, and the Law of Attraction: Learning to Attract Wealth, Health, and Happiness

The Law of Attraction: The Basics of the Teachings of Abraham

The Astonishing Power of Emotions: Let Your Feelings Be Your Guide

The Vortex: Where the Law of Attraction Assembles All Cooperative Relationships

Choose one of these books.

Read it.

I believe that you will be happy that you did.

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 133: Abraham Said…

Abraham said:

“You are the creator of your own reality because you are the chooser of the thought right now.”

What is your thought right now? Is it uplifting, inspiring? Is is a great idea or the next step to achieve your dreams? Or is it a diminishing, judging and lessening thought?

If you never heard of the group consciousness called Abraham and their teachings, allow me to introduce them to you today. What they are might not have anything in common with your beliefs in this very moment, but I want to invite you to pick up one of the books they helped write and read it. Their books teach about the frontier of what we are capable of if we choose our thoughts with great care and if we constantly work to improve our experiences, one thought at a time.

“You are never going to get to any final place. And so, we want to remind you to relax and start having fun on the way.”

To introduce Abraham and Esther and Jerry Hicks to you, here is an excerpt from their web page www.abraham-hicks.com. Stay open to new ideas. Accept that there are things harder to comprehend.

Sometimes no amount of words will do a subject justice.

Abraham is a name. A symbol.  A feeling. Evocative-yet simple-like we want our names to be.

But who, or what, is/are, Abraham . . . really?

Workshop attendee: “. . . you’re a very attractive woman, too.”

Abraham: “We’re usually a nebulous mist, so that is quite a compliment.” (Laughter)

Louise Hay calls them “some of the best teachers on the planet today.”

To Dr. Wayne Dyer they are “the great Masters of the Universe!”

A veritable who’s-who of authors, speakers and teachers continue to publicly acknowledge and praise the immense value of the wisdom that is pouring forth through Esther.

Abraham has described themselves as “a group consciousness from the non-physical dimension” (which helps a lot!). They have also said, “We are that which you are. You are the leading edge of that which we are. We are that which is at the heart of all religions.”

Abraham has told us through Esther that whenever we feel moments of great love, exhilaration, pure joy, stoned-out bliss, even the energy of sexual orgasm when we feel that Energy Flow rushing through our bodies, that is the energy of Source, and that is who Abraham “is”.

“Jerry and Esther never used the word channeling,” Abraham reflects. “It is used when applied to them, but they have never used it, because it means many things of which they are not, you see.”

“You could leave the channeling out of it. Call it inspiration; that’s all it is. You don’t call the basketball player a channeler, but he is; he’s an extension of Source Energy. You don’t call the surgeon a channeler, but he is. You don’t call the musician, the magnificent master musician, you don’t call him a channeler, but he is. He’s channeling the broader essence of who he is into the specifics of what he is about.”

Esther herself calls Abraham “infinite intelligence,” and to Jerry they are “the purest form of love I’ve ever experienced.”

We say check out Abraham for yourself. It’s the only way to go and the only way to know. If watching or listening or reading the words of Abraham feels good to you, then you’re in the right place. If they sound “off” to you, or maybe even a little bit annoying—adventure on!

And finally—from Jerry—”Mr. Practical”:

“I don’t know what they are and I don’t care what they are. I’m just using them for the good it will do for myself and others.”

And sometimes—all is said with just one word.

Abraham. They just are what they are.

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 132: Today Is Special

What makes today special? The fact that there will never be another day like today. Today is unique.

Tomorrow will be another day, and even if you try to recreate all the events and circumstances of today, it will never be the same. It cannot be recreated. Once today is gone, it will be gone forever.

I will write this again, so that you can read it again:

Once today is gone, it will be gone forever!

This definiteness and inevitability makes today special, just as it is.

Every day is an opportunity to enjoy life, to create, to help someone, to grow, to overcome, to relax, to learn, to give, to let go, to love, to forgive, to enjoy, to explore, to expand. Every day is an opportunity TO LIVE.

I want you to live, not to just exist.

What can you do right now in order to feel alive?

Ask yourself this question and then be willing to hear the answer.

And once you have the answer, have the courage to immediately take the first step in that direction. Seal the deal by taking that very first action.

Do not wait. Today will be gone in a few short hours.

And it will never come back.

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 131: Just Accept It As It Is

You might have a little trouble accepting your current situation just as it is, especially if it is not what you really want.

But here’s the thing: there is a sort of magic that happens when you accept your life like it is right now, in this very moment. You lay down resistance and you relax. You stop struggling inside your mind and your whole being releases stress.

As you relax, you are able to hear the promptings of your soul that were hidden behind your mental and emotional turmoil. When you release resistance, you stop sending out the vibration of what you do not like, of what you do not want, of what makes you unhappy.

And, as you stop sending out the energy of what you wish was not happening, you can now start desiring what you really want. The energy of your desires and dreams is now free to expand beyond your physical body, beyond your mind and emotional systems. Your energetic being starts vibrating with anticipation and with gratitude for the things to come.

Gratitude for things that have not yet happened brings them closer and closer to the physical manifestation in your life.

Do you get it?

When you resist what it is right now, you stop the flow of what you want.

When you relax in this very moment, just as it is, you stop the fight with your inner self and you can call forth what you want.

It is simple really.

You struggle and you create more distance between what it is and what you desire.

You relax and accept the current situation and you lessen the distance between what is and what you want.

What are you resisting right now? Define it, put it into words.

And then, accept it just as it is.

The very moment you do do so, you are starting to move in the direction of your dreams.

The more you relax, the faster you travel.

The more you resist, the slower the pace. If you do not let go of your struggle, you will not get to where you want to be.

So let go, accept, relax.

Magic will happen.

I know, because I have done this many times.

Now it’s your turn to try.

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 88: Road Maps of Desires

Today is my birthday and I am celebrating…. well, I am celebrating me! I am grateful for all the experiences I’ve had in my life so far, for all the knowledge that I have accumulated and for all the levels of transformation I have gone through until today. I am grateful that I am sharing all this with you. Thank you for being here with me.

There is no greater freedom than being who you are and living your life from a place of power and inner strength. There is so much joy in defining what you truly want and then start taking the steps to make it happen.

I take time to define my new desires and aspirations every year, sometimes even on my birthday, as part of my inner celebration. Why don’t you join me?

Take five sheets of paper and title them:

  • My relationships
  • My career
  • My finances
  • My internal/spiritual life
  • My health
  • My romantic life

I call these the 5 Road Maps Of Desires. On each page write your ultimate desires; do not hold back, start writing, get more paper if you need extra pages, juts keep writing what you would like to have and experience in your life. Keep writing. You can keep changing your mind over and over and add as many details as you can picture in your mind.

I want you to keep adding things to your 5 road maps all this week. Keep your 5 road maps papers handy so that you can keep writing things down.

Write at least 25 things in each one of them. This will start to flex your imagination muscles, so to speak. When I did this exercise for the first time many years back, I realized that it was not that easy to voice what I wanted. I had no idea that I could want many things and I thought that it felt like splurging.

Do you get that? Splurging? It was just writing what I wanted on a piece of paper. I was not in the habit of being clear about what I wanted and I censored my desires even in my thoughts, as if I was not entitled to them.

If this is hard for you right now, just think about this: how are you going to create your desired life, if you cannot even envision it? Let the imagination flow, flex your dreaming muscles and start writing what you want. Start working on your road maps of desires.

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 74: How Do You Know It’s Working?

What a wonderful question! You set your intention to achieve a goal, to let go of limiting beliefs and to transform your life.

Your intention to change your life has tremendous power! The intention alone can shift your awareness and bring old beliefs to the surface so that they can be examined and released. Your intention is only dependent upon the intensity with which you want things to change.

But how do you know that what you are doing is in fact working? You know by how you FEEL INSIDE:

  1. More determined, clearer, less afraid, lighter and more uplifted OR
  2. Unsettled, quite overwhelmed and overly tired

Both answers are a clear indication that it is working, that you are transforming, that you are releasing the old and embracing the new. I’ll explain.

The first answer is pretty clear: if you are feeling empowered and more aware, calmer, more confident and less afraid than when you started, you know that things are already changing. Simple.

But how about the second answer? To explain I will use an analogy. Imagine you decided to do a massive cleaning of your house. You want everything to be thoroughly cleaned: drawers, cupboards, closets, behind and under the furniture, rugs, windows and every corner. You take a week off work, go and buy cleaning supplies, new brooms, all the cleaning sponges you will need, put on clothes that you can soil and you are ready to tackle the task. You start rolling up the rugs, moving furniture away from the walls, emptying cupboards, preparing your bucket of water, your vacuum and your duster. You are getting into the thick of it, so to speak.

If a friend comes for an unannounced visit, what would she see? A total mess: stuff all over the floor, dust bunnies freed up from under the furniture, dirty windows that before you could not see behind window treatments, and you covered in dust and sweat and with your hair in disarray. Everything looks a lot worse now because before you started, all the dust and dirt were hidden. And now they’re not. Everything is right there, in plain view.

Even in the midst of all this apparent mess, YOU KNOW THAT IT IS WORKING. Your house is getting cleaner with every single task that you fully complete. Do you get the picture?

Ok, back to the initial question. You might feel unsettled, overwhelmed and tired because everything is coming up for you to look at. The more stuff was holding you down, the more effort your system is spending to release it.

All is well. With every clean, organized inner drawer your life is changing according to your desire. With every step you are getting closer to your dream. With every action you are increasing your momentum.

So, even if you are not certain, even if you have doubts, even if fear creeps up on you again, DO NOT STOP. Keep moving in the direction of your dreams. It is working.

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 73: Dreams, Goals and Desires

RUCSANDRA's PICTUREIs there a GAP between your life in this very moment and your desired life? What do you think of it? Do you like it or do you feel discouraged by it?

My gap is constantly changing, because as I am constantly creating my life, I have new dreams, goals and desires. This gap is a very good thing, because it propels me into action, it makes me stretch my inner being, it makes me grow and transform.

How large is YOUR gap? You can take baby steps or giant leaps, but whatever you choose, if you truly want to close it, then you will. And then you can desire something else, have a new dream and set another goal to create a new gap.

The more focused you stay on what you want, the closer you are to getting it. When you first begin to examine your life and start to make the first few changes in the direction you want to go, you will feel even more imbalanced, maybe even more confused than before you started the process. This is a very good sign! It means that the dismantling of the old has already started.

Let me explain.

You cannot build a new house on a piece of land that is occupied by an old structure. You first have to demolish the old building, piece by piece sometimes, shattering entire floors at other times. Next you must clear the land of all the debris and then you are ready to start digging the new foundation.

It does take time and the larger the old structure, the more time you will need to dismantle it. You might get tired of the physical labor and sometimes feel discouraged by unforeseen problems, but you would not think that the day when you get to start building your new house will never come.

The same is true about your inner self; turning away from old concepts, fears and beliefs and building a new life takes time, dedication and work.

But every single action brings you closer to where you want to be.

How do you know that it is working, that you are making progress? I’ll tell you tomorrow.
