DAY 277: Money Sex And The Black Cat (ENCORE)

black cat

I must be feeling nostalgic, because I have been browsing through my posts again today.

This is the post that still holds the record on views and readers.

So, since it was such a hit, here it is again.

Throwback Day 13:

“Did the title grab your attention? Today is Day 13 and quite suited for this topic. To be honest, when I sat down to see what I was going to write about and the words of the title popped into my head, I raised my eyebrows and I asked out loud “Really???”. I wanted to dismiss the idea, but the words kept rolling in my mind over and over, so today I am writing about money, sex and black cats.

As we did with the number 13 in many parts of our world, we managed to create fear of money and fear of sex quite effectively. Our education did not include emotional intelligence or self love classes; it definitely did not include courses about the energy of money, about sexual energy and how to allow an unobstructed flow of both. Instead we were told all the wrong things that created unnecessary pain and suffering in our lives. I am convinced that many people feel the same. Today I am grateful because I have systematically worked to demolish the limiting beliefs brought about by my upbringing, schooling and living in today’s world.

Here’s a short list of the things many people have heard more than once. The number 13 brings bad luck and it is to be feared.  Money does not grow on trees. Sex is sinful. Rich people must be crooks to have that much money. Money is evil. Black cats are evil, do not let one cross your path. You must work hard for your money. There’s never enough. If I make more money, then someone else will have to make less. Sex is dirty. Money brings unhappiness. Black cats are linked to black magic. We cannot have a floor numbered 13, so let’s just jump from 12 to 14. You get the idea.I am sure you can add a few more sentences to my list of absurd, born from fear and fear creating examples.

Money is a neutral energy, it is not good nor bad. We give it one meaning or another and our relationship with money reflects exactly how we feel. Are you pleased with the amount of money flowing into your life and do not feel guilty for having it and spending it? If not, start looking at what is your real belief system about money. Sexual energy is actually creative, expressive energy and cannot be good or bad, it is neutral as well. Are you pleased with your sensuality and the sexual energy flowing through you? If not, take a deep breath and bring up what you really believe about sex. The more you examine your deep beliefs, the more awareness you will get and your relationship with money and your  expressive, creative sexual energy will improve.

As for black cats, having lived under the same roof with mine for almost 17 years, I can tell you that when Kiki crosses my path, she is asking for food or she wants attention. But that’s as black magic as it gets!

I have a lot more to share with you on these topics, and I am sure that they will appear again in my gratitude blog.. Until then, here are two fantastic books:

“The Wealth Chef” – by Ann Wilson – this is the education I wish I received when I was younger, but am very grateful to have found it now.

“The Honeymoon Effect” – by Dr. Bruce Lipton – the concepts explained in his book will allow you to improve the relationship you have with yourself and with others.

… and I imagine there is a book somewhere about the positive power of the number 13. If you know of one, comment on my post and let me know.”

DAY 260: Sharing My Thoughts In A Great Book

Holistic Wellness In The New Age

More than a year ago Dr. Sandeep Goswami from The LightWorks Publishing asked me if I would like to write an article for a book that would present different holistic approaches to wellness and explore the subject of energy medicine. I was of course thrilled and immediately accepted.

Later on I found out that one of the invited authors was a scientist whose books and interviews have taught and inspired me for many years. His books ignited a great transformation in myself and redirected my understanding of life in general. The internationally recognized leader in bridging science and spirit, Dr. Bruce Lipton himself was going to contribute to this book.

I am deeply honored by this remarkable opportunity to share my thoughts in the same book as Dr. Lipton.

“Holistic Wellness In The NewAge” – A Comprehensive Guide To NewAge Healing Practices: Tools, techniques & real life stories by over 45 accomplished master facilitators.

“Holistic Wellness In The NewAge” showcases various therapies in the mind, body & soul domain. The book covers various topics contributed by accomplished healers who have been practicing NewAge Therapies.

The book will be released at the NewAge Conference on Energy Medicine & Holistic Wellness organized jointly by NewAge Wellness World & The NewAge Foundation scheduled in 2015.

It is a bestseller by birth with over 1500 copies ordered before the launch.

I am excited.

I am grateful.

Rucsandra

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 201: Healing Power

Healing Power

You have extraordinary healing power.

And so do I.

And so does everybody else.

Our very nature is so extraordinary that we have access to an extremely powerful healing mechanism: THOUGHT!

We are not defined by our DNA; this is an old thinking model, completely obsolete. It is only through the great inertia that we humans are capable of that the next piece of information is not known by every single one of us.

Cell membranes contain receptor proteins that allow them to perceive their environment. The signals perceived by the cell membranes can be ions, which are material, physical signals, but they can also be vibrational in nature.

In Dr. Bruce Lipton’s words:

“…. because receptors can read energy fields, the notion that only physical molecules can impact cell physiology is outmoded. Biological behavior can be controlled by invisible forces, including thought, as well as it can be controlled by physical molecules…a fact that provides the scientific underpinning for pharmaceutical-free, energy medicine.”

Thought, thought, thought…

What do you think?

Rucsandra

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 176: Retrain Your Thinking To Change Your Body

RUCSANDRA's PICTURE

In yesterday’s post I stated that you can heal your body by changing the way you think and the way you feel.

This is not wishful thinking or any kind of crazy talk.

It is science.

That is right: science backs it up!

Dr. Bruce Lipton, PhD is an internationally recognized leader in bridging science and spirit. He is a stem cell biologist, bestselling author of The Biology of Belief and recipient of the 2009 Goi Peace Award.

In The Biology of Belief, Dr. Liptons’s provides a profoundly hopeful synthesis of the latest and best research in cell biology and quantum physics. The book, being hailed as a major break-through, is showing that our bodies can be changed as we retrain our thinking.

Dr. Lipton says that DNA is controlled by signals from outside the cell, including the energetic messages emanating from our positive and negative thoughts.

Our bodies can be changed as we retrain our thinking.

We can even control our DNA!

What this all means is that NOTHING is written in stone.

Are you ready to change your health and transform your body?

Start with your thoughts!

Rucsandra

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 27: The Inner Child – Part 3

RUCSANDRA's PICTURE

This is building up! Today I want to share with you what I know about the conscious and subconscious minds. I am really excited about this because I know that once you find out how big a part the subconscious mind has to play in your life, you will understand why you must heal your Inner Child.

Here we go, buckle up!

I want you to imagine an iceberg: a small portion is found above the water while the massive rest is hidden below the water surface. This image will give you the scale of how the conscious mind (above the water) and the subconscious mind (below the water surface) relate to each other and the power they have in shaping your inner life.

The CONSCIOUS MIND  represents about %15 of the total mind’s capacity and can only process a limited amount of information at a time and therefore it can only hold one single thought at a time. This is your thinking mind; it knows how to think in abstract terms, set goals, judge results and compare information. This part of your mind is what you are using right now to focus on reading this post. The conscious mind does not store memories, it is only concerned with what is happening right now, with planning and dealing with the ‘here and now’ situations.

The SUBCONSCIOUS MIND represents 85% of your brain’s capacity. Think about it as being a massive computer system that controls and monitors body operations, such as heart beat, breathing, metabolism, hormone productions and so on; this means that it can deal with thousands of events at a time. These are all things beyond your conscious thinking capacity.

This powerful computer is also in charge of long-term memories and past experiences, attitudes, values and beliefs as well as all the information regarding how you feel. The subconscious mind thinks literally, therefore it has no reasoning power and cannot reject anything that it is told. Read that last sentence again:

The subconscious mind thinks literally, therefore it has no reasoning power and cannot reject anything that it is told.

Emotions are controlled by the subconscious mind. When you feel afraid or anxious you do not consciously want to experience such a feeling. Trying to think yourself out of it consciously is not very effective.

Most of the subconscious programming was done when you were very young, before you reached the age of seven, before the filter between the subconscious mind and the conscious mind developed in  your psyche, before you had ample reasoning and judging power. As an adult you posses such a filter and you do not believe everything you are told. Before this barrier was developed in your mind, you took in without judgment or real understanding everything you experienced, got exposed to and was told with respect to yourself, other people and life in general.

When you were a child you created a set of beliefs and values with the understanding you had at the time. The powerful, subconscious part of your mind was programmed by what you heard, saw and experienced when you were too young to understand the meaning of the things you were exposed to. You were too young to form any real opinions of your own so you took in as truth whatever you were presented with. Your young mind interpreted them as it could and the opinions and beliefs of those around you reinforced what you came up with. So, all the things you accepted as truth at that early age, remained embedded in your subconscious mind. Your responses, reactions and decision-making as an adult are affected and influenced by them, unless you heal the wounds of the past.

Wow! This is a lot and there is more in store for you tomorrow. This will allow you to connect with your Inner Child in a powerful way so I am grateful that I get to share it with you. Thank you.

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 26: The Inner Child – Part 2

RUCSANDRA's PICTURE

I am thrilled that I get to share with you all this information about the Inner Child. When I understood this concept, I was able to start a powerful process of transformation in my own life. I am grateful that I did and I want the same for you!

As I sat down to write this post, I realized that there will be more than two parts to the Inner Child topic. So more will come tomorrow.

In yesterday’s post I asked you to create your Inner Child image and to allow it to sit with you in silence. According to the tradition of Ho’oponopono, about which I wrote on Day 5, the Inner Child is actually the subconscious mind and it must be approached really gently and patiently.

I’ll write about the conscious and subconscious minds tomorrow. Right now, I want to bring to your attention the fact that nowadays science is backing-up the connection between what we feel and what we create in our lives on all levels: physical, emotional, spiritual, mental and energetic. This is no mystery anymore; it is not considered make-belief anymore in the medical and scientific circles. It is REALITY. It is the reality of the intricate, powerful and self-healing mechanism that the human being is.

Reading books by Dr. Bruce Lipton, Dr. Deepak Chopra, Dr. Andrew Weil or Gregg Braden will offer you the scientific proof regarding the fact that we create our lives through how we feel and what we think. Our emotions are a sounding board, a barometer for how aligned we are with our inner essence. Our true Essence is fearless, powerful, expanded, generous and magnificent. When we feel small, afraid and powerless it is because part of our connection with the true essence of who we are has been turned off. More so today, as our world is led by fear and shaken by major events, we may be feeling afraid, confused or alone. And because of this very phenomenon, we create more of what we are afraid of.

Louise Hay started saying almost 40 years ago:

“Every thought we think, and every word we speak, is creating our future. Our thoughts go out into the universe.”

The book “All is Well: Heal Your Body with Medicine, Affirmations and Intuition” written by Louise Hay and Dr. Mona Lisa Schulz is based on Louise Hay’s decades of work. Dr. Schulz explains how science today is able to back-up what Louise Hay said all along. Here’s a quote from the book:

“Research has shown that fear, anger, sadness, love, and joy have specific effects on the body. We know that anger makes muscles clamp down and blood vessels constrict, leading to hypertension and resistance to blood flow. Cardiac medicine tells us that joy and love tend to have opposite effect.

……

Specific thought patterns affect our bodies in predictable ways, releasing certain chemicals in response to each emotion. When fear is your dominant mood over a long period of time, the constant release of stress hormones, specifically cortisol, triggers a domino effect of chemicals that lead to heart disease, weight gain, and depression.

As with fear, other emotions and thoughts follow a typical pattern as they are projected onto the body in the form of illness. In my work, I have also found that while emotions travel everywhere in the body, they affect organs differently depending on what is happening in your life. “

This is a lot of information and I will leave you with it until tomorrow.

365 DAYS OF GRATITUDE – DAY 13: Money, Sex and the Black Cat
