Do you have a better understanding now of what I call Emotional Cleanliness? Can you see why it is extremely important to cleanse at the emotional level?
I want to give you the tools to do just that: start cleansing, releasing, letting go and healing your emotional body.
The first tool is called SQUARE BREATHING and the more you do it, the more powerful it becomes. It is a wonderful cleansing tool.
Imagine a square, right in front of your eyes, just floating there. Close your eyes and just imagine the square.
We are going to choose a count of five to do this breathing exercise. So start with five, but if you need to go with a lower count, please feel free to do so. Or you can go to higher count; six, seven or eight. Choose the level that is comfortable for you.
Ok, so as your eyes are moving up one side of the square, you are going to inhale to your chosen count. Then you are going to hold your breath and move your mind’s eyes across the top of the square. As you exhale, counting, you move down on the other side of the square and then you hold your breath at the bottom of the square.
It will be like this:
- Up on one side of the square: inhale 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
- Across the top of the square: hold your inhale 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
- Down the other side of the square: exhale 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
- Across the bottom of the square: hold your inhale 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
And repeat this up to 10 times: 10 full squares.
